This Thing is about using Reference tools to write research articles and other academic works. I wouldn’t like to repeat what’s already obvious because so many of us went through the University citing references manually- a very boring and tedious experience it was.
We use Refworks and Endnote at my POW. While Endnote is freely available to staff , both staff and students enjoy Refworks freely which does almost the same thing and is really so helpful. I work at the helpdesk and have had opportunities guiding staff and students through both but I must say they are still a bit new for me too and sometimes I have to carry out extensive research before I am able to give patrons the right answers when it comes to some technical aspects of it. I do enjoy learning on the job though.
