If 10 years ago I was told the social media would be a useful tool in career development, I would have raised en eyebrow. So much so that it even took me this long to start using it for such purposes.
CPD23 has so far encouraged me to blog more and I have been able to meet people I would never have met (or ever meet)in the real world.
And I begin to wonder…
The rate at which social media is being used for collaborative purposes is amazing. The rate at which technology is growing and embracing our world is mind-blowing and we may find ourselves being overtaken(for good, I hope) by this world of surreal fantasy.
The film Avatar seems like an abstract concept now but I wonder if in the next few decades we may actually be in a position to choose to experience literally what Jake Sully had in the film. And if it comes to that I wonder, would I?
